When I get home from work my Windows 10 notification pop ups will stream for up to an HOUR on every email I got throughout the day, every Slack message, etc. It’s too much, most of these messages have been read, replied to, etc from my Work PC. Sometimes this will start happening hours into using my computer at home, i’ll start getting pop ups for Outlook emails that happened 8 hours ago. I don’t get it. How can we calm this down?
Can I at least move the pop up’s to my second screen my default? These will often pop up when playing games, etc and it’s infuriating. However, the issue might be because the system is not connected to internet all the time and the moment system gets connected to internet, as per the notification settings, it looks up for the latest notifications.
In order to get clarity on the issue we would need some information regarding the issue. With regard to moving notification pop ups to second screen is not possible as it is by design. However, we would suggest you to use Focus assist feature of Windows which allows you to avoid distractions when you need to stay focused.

Yes, it’s connected all the time. No, it’s not just Outlook but because of the number of emails I get this makes it worse.
It happens with Slack, etc, anything that has a notification. I can also confirm that Focus Assist works half the time, it does not work however when these delayed messages from hours before come pouring in.
