I currently have Windows 8. If I upgrade to Windows 10 will I lose everything in PC. For instance, my music files, kindle books and a few other files. I understand Windows 10 will no longer have Windows Media Player. I recently downloaded tons of CDs and I don’t want to lose them. Also, my router from my internet provided is connected to my computer. Will I lose my tv, phone and computer if I change to windows 10?
Do I need to contact my provider if I change to Windows 10? If you upgrade from Windows 8. They’ll follow you throught the new installation of Windows It’s exactly like when you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8. However, I recommend you to back-up all your personal files before comes to time to upgrade to Windows 10, just in case something goes wrong and you end up loosing these files. And you don’t need to contact your provider if you upgrade to Windows The OS you run have nothing to do with your service provider, nor your Internet, router, phone, television, etc.
