If you upgraded through the Microsoft Store, this is an issue users have been reporting where the system accidentally upgrades your system to Windows 10 Enterprise instead of Windows 10 Pro. To correct this issue, your best option is to contact support so they can correct it.
Option 3: There is another way you might be able to downgrqade to Home without having to reinstall everything, but its pretty advanced. Wait while Windows 10 setup does one final check to ensure your system is ready. Windows 10 setup will check if you have enough disk space. I downgraded back to Windows 10 Home since I’m not comfortable trying to get Windows 10 Pro to work properly, but maybe I will install it again and this time, I’ll downgrade from Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 10 Pro edition.
Is it possible, I can upgrade Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro using the media creation tool instead? Once I change the values in the Registry Editor? I’ll have to re-install Windows 10 Pro even though it will go back to Windows 10 Enterprise, but now I know to downgrade back to Windows 10 Pro using that same method you just mentioned.
Mike, as I said this is due to nothing you did wrong. If you bought the Pro Upgrade then you are entitled to it.
